Bitterness and Thankfulness

Bitterness has no place in my heart because God is in control of all things.

"Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?" -job 2:10

Bitterness in my heart, though silent, says "God your ways are not good and I do not trust you". Lord, help me to trust you and to see your ways as good. Help me to be thankful in the midst of trials both big and small.

Your word says in 1 thess 5:18:

"...give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you"

Lord give me faith to believe and strength to act.
